Nicholas Hartman is a Swedish architect based in Slovenia, currently practicing at SADAR+VUGA. He graduated from the Lund School of Architecture (LTH) in Sweden in 2022, where he earned his Degree of Master of Architecture. His work explores the transition from Nordic architectural traditions to the contemporary, avant-garde landscape of Central Europe. This perspective was shaped by his formative years at C.F. Møller Architects in Aarhus and Abelardo Gonzalez Arkitektbyrå in Malmö. He specializes in parametric design and advanced modeling, utilizing digital fabrication to bridge complex geometry with physical reality. His expertise extends to architectural photography and high-end visualization, ensuring a cohesive narrative from initial computation to final representation. His process maintains a constant dialogue between digital tools and analog mediums. By combining technical research with hand sketching, pen drawings, and paper collage, he develops clear spatial concepts and architectural diagrams. Having contributed to numerous international competitions, he focuses on the intersection of rigorous technical research, sustainability, and collaborative design.
